TAG Students and Families,
Here’s what you need to know as TAG prepares to roll out online learning:
MONDAY BEFORE NOON: Students will be required to fill out a Google Form DAILY, STARTING ON MONDAY, to indicate that they are “present.” The Google Form will be available on the grade-level Google Classrooms. The attendance Google Form MUST be completed by noon.
CONTINUED ATTENDANCE: Any student who fails to submit the daily attendance form via Google Classroom by noon will be marked as absent. Failure to fill out the form on a daily basis (Monday–Friday) could result in a student not earning credit for their classes.
- Everything students need will be posted on TAG teachers’ individual Google Classroom pages. Sometimes, students will follow links from those pages to Zoom calls, YouTube videos, etc., but everything will originate on Google Classroom.
- Every student MUST be a member of each of the Google Classroom pages for each of their classes. To get the code to join a class’s page, please email the teacher.
- Every TAG class will have work posted for students on Google Classroom by Wednesday. Every TAG student should check each of their TAG Google Classroom pages on Wednesday.
ASSIGNMENTS: Students can expect roughly two grades/assignments per week, per TAG class.
TECHNOLOGY: If you are sharing a device with others in your household, please contact Mr. Zuniga via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange to pick up an additional Chromebook.
TEACHER AVAILABILITY: TAG teachers will be available during set periods of time between 9:00 – 4:00 on weekdays. A more detailed schedule will be available by midweek.
