List of Thesis Projects: Newsletter.2018 Thesis Judge Request
Are you interested in judging one of our Senior Thesis projects this year? Please review the list of projects that are still in search of judges. If you are able and interested in judging, you can email Mr. Correa at email@example.com.
Our TAG students take a lot of long and arduous tests during the AP and STAAR testing weeks of May 7 – May 18. We strive to keep our students well-fed and comfortable during tests so that they can focus on the task in front of them. If you are willing and able, we are soliciting donations of any packages snack items (crackers, cookies, granola bars, fruit cups, gummies, etc.) that we can offer to students during their breaks. If you are able to donate, please bring the snacks to the TAG office anytime between now and May 11! Thank you in advance!
Summer Public Speaking & Debate Camps
Our Summer Debate Camp would help in building your students communication and critical thinking skills, thus leading to better academic performance at school. Many of our former campers have gone on to participate in national debate tournaments and enroll in prestigious universities (UCLA, Stanford, USC, and Harvard to name a few). We also have scholarship and financial aid opportunities for students to take advantage of.
We would like to extend an invitation to your students to apply for 2018 Summer Debate Camps:
OSU’s event exclusively for high school juniors will be here in a few weeks! OSU Junior Day is Saturday, April 21. Students can learn more and register at this link.
We invite juniors to dream big. They’ll hear how current students are turning ideas into reality every day. Students will learn how to achieve their dreams as part of the Cowboy family. We want juniors to see our campus, meet other students who want to be part of OSU Class of 2023 and start planning their future here at OSU.

We need one or two 9th grade parent volunteers to coordinate the purchase and delivery of Pizzas, Bottled Water, Plates and Napkins for the Civics Fair scheduled for May 4. The parent will be responsible for contacting the pizza vendor and purchasing and delivering the bottled water, plates and napkins, and delivering them to the school for this event. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact your amazing PTSA President, Brooke Wise at firstname.lastname@example.org. The parent volunteers will be reimbursed for any money spent as long as they can keep expenses within the budget provided.
Our TAG 9th graders have spent the past semester identifying, defining, researching, and developing a feasible solution to an issue that they see in their community.
